I finally quit smoking – cold turkey. In fact, I smoked my last cigarette at 9:35 p.m. on Friday night. So far, I’ve been able to fight off the urges to have one. They say the first 72 hours are the worse, and I made it through that (woo hoo!). But I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that it’s going to get easier.

I know it’s been forever since I blogged, and I apologize for that. Work has been crazy, which doesn’t leave a lot of time for a life.
The Aeros season ended, so I was sad about that. But, at least I got a last picture with my boy, Erik Reitz, after the game. A big thanks to my friend, JK, for taking the pic!

After being told over two months ago that I would be getting a raise at work, I finally got an effective date. It’s been hell trying to find out what was holding everything up, and I never really did get a clear answer. But, I was told this morning that my raise would take effect on May 12th. I probably won’t see it until my paycheck towards the end of the month, but at least I know for sure now that it’s coming!
